AlphaRank Privacy Policy
Version: 1.1 Alpha | Effective Date: July 9, 2026
Public-service warning. AlphaRank is designed around public profiles, calls, receipts, scores, and rankings. Information you post publicly may be indexed, copied, or redistributed by others. Do not include private keys, seed phrases, exchange credentials, financial account information, government identifiers, private communications, or other sensitive personal information in User Content.
1. Scope and Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Star Forge LLC, which operates AlphaRank at alpharank.trade ("AlphaRank," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information in connection with the AlphaRank website, private-alpha access, launch waitlists, accounts, subscriptions, and related services.
This Policy applies to AlphaRank. Separate privacy notices may apply to LORE, Edge Atlas, or other Star Forge LLC products.
2. Alpha-Stage Privacy Summary
- AlphaRank is intended for users who are at least 18 years old.
- We use authentication and cloud infrastructure providers to operate the Service.
- During private alpha, we use your verified email to check OC membership. If access is unavailable, we retain it for one AlphaRank public-launch notification and do not create an AlphaRank profile.
- Public calls, profiles, receipts, scores, ranks, and related activity are intentionally public.
- We do not sell personal information for money or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising at launch.
- We do not execute trades, connect to exchange accounts, or intentionally collect wallet private keys, seed phrases, or brokerage credentials.
- After account deletion, we may retain public call events in anonymized or pseudonymized form to preserve record and scoring integrity.
3. Personal Information We Collect
| Category | Examples | Primary Purposes |
|---|---|---|
| Account, access, and waitlist identifiers | Verified email address, Clerk user identifier, OC access result, waitlist status and timestamps, handle, display name, avatar, registration source, account status, and authentication/session metadata. | Check private-alpha eligibility, save launch-notification requests, create and authenticate admitted accounts, administer access, secure the Service, communicate, and enforce rules. |
| Public profile and User Content | Biography, links, calls, thesis text, asset, direction, contract address, updates, slot actions, timestamps, receipts, scores, ranks, badges, and moderation labels. | Display public records, operate profiles, score calls, generate leaderboards, prevent fraud, and provide Service features. |
| Asset submissions | Asset name, symbol, chain, contract address, links, notes, and evidence submitted for unknown or pending assets. | Identify assets, review coverage, prevent impersonation, and determine scoreability. |
| Service activity | Pages viewed, searches, clicks, call actions, slot movements, feature use, timestamps, referral page, and interaction logs. | Operate, measure, debug, improve, secure, and audit the Service. |
| Device and network data | IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, browser, operating system, device type, language, user agent, session identifiers, web-push subscription endpoint and encryption keys when you enable app notifications, and error logs. | Authentication, security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, rate limiting, notifications you request, and service operation. |
| Communications | Support emails, feedback, reports, appeals, survey responses, and other messages. | Respond to requests, provide support, investigate reports, and improve the Service. |
| Legal, consent, and moderation records | Terms version, acceptance timestamp, account identifier, policy acknowledgments, reports, evidence, moderation decisions, and enforcement history. | Prove consent, enforce rules, prevent repeat abuse, resolve disputes, and comply with law. |
| Billing and subscription records | Stripe customer, checkout-session, subscription, product and price identifiers; plan, billing interval, subscription status, renewal period, and limited transaction metadata. | Provide paid plans, prevent duplicate subscriptions, manage access, process cancellations, prevent fraud, keep accounting records, and resolve billing issues. |
| Inferences and derived outputs | Scores, rank, best-call placement, risk or abuse indicators, and asset status derived from activity and market data. | Provide reputation features, maintain integrity, detect abuse, and explain outcomes. |
Authentication credentials may be handled by Clerk. AlphaRank does not need to receive your plaintext password. Do not send us passwords, wallet seed phrases, private keys, exchange API keys, payment card information, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive credentials.
Stripe processes payment-card and other payment credentials through Stripe-hosted checkout and billing pages. AlphaRank generally does not receive full card numbers or card security codes. Stripe provides us limited billing and subscription records needed to operate paid plans. Do not send payment-card details to AlphaRank by email, profile, call, or support message.
4. Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information from:
- You, when you register, create a profile, subscribe, post a call, submit an asset, move calls between slots, communicate, or exercise a privacy choice.
- An AlphaRank administrator, such as when account access, moderation, or a plan grant is reviewed.
- Your browser, device, and interactions with the Service.
- Authentication, hosting, security, analytics, error-monitoring, and other service providers.
- Stripe, when it returns billing, checkout, subscription, fraud-prevention, and transaction status information.
- Public sources and third-party market data providers, primarily for asset identifiers and market information rather than personal information.
5. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, authenticate, maintain, and administer the Service.
- Create public profiles, call histories, receipts, scores, and leaderboards.
- Review unknown assets and determine pending, scoreable, receipt-only, or unscoreable status.
- Calculate, correct, replay, audit, and explain scoring outputs.
- Process subscriptions, provide paid features, reconcile billing status, and prevent duplicate or fraudulent purchases.
- Send account, billing, security, policy, and service communications.
- Send a one-time AlphaRank access-opening notification to people saved on the private-alpha waitlist.
- Prevent fraud, manipulation, duplicate accounts, ban evasion, unauthorized access, and other abuse.
- Moderate content, investigate reports, enforce policies, and preserve evidence.
- Debug, analyze, measure, test, and improve the Service.
- Comply with law, protect rights and safety, and establish or defend legal claims.
- Create de-identified or aggregate statistics and research that do not reasonably identify an individual.
6. Public Information
AlphaRank intentionally makes certain information public. Public information may include your handle, display name, profile information, calls, contract addresses, direction, thesis, Alpha Slot placement, Slot Bankroll level, timestamps, updates, receipts, score, rank, badges, status labels, and moderation or correction status where appropriate.
During private alpha, these product records are limited to admitted users and authorized integrations. If AlphaRank later makes records public, information may become available to people without an AlphaRank account, search engines, social networks, archival services, data aggregators, and other third parties. Third parties may retain copies after you edit or delete information or close your account.
Do not post another person's personal information unless you have a lawful basis and permission to do so. Doxxing and disclosure of private information are prohibited.
7. How We Disclose Personal Information
| Recipient | Information and Purpose |
|---|---|
| The public and other users | Public profile, calls, receipts, scores, ranks, asset submissions, and other information designated as public. |
| Clerk | Account identifiers, authentication events, session information, and related customer data needed to provide authentication and user management. |
| Stripe | Account and checkout metadata needed to process payments, create and manage subscriptions, provide a customer billing portal, prevent fraud, and handle billing support. Stripe processes payment credentials under its own terms and privacy notice. |
| Amazon Web Services and related infrastructure | Application data, databases, backups, logs, and technical records needed to host, secure, and operate the Service. |
| Market data providers | Asset identifiers, contract addresses, chain identifiers, and technical API requests. We do not intentionally send your email or direct account identity unless necessary for a disclosed feature. |
| Analytics, error-monitoring, and security vendors | Device, usage, diagnostic, and security data if and when such tools are enabled. The provider list and cookie notice should be updated before non-essential tools are launched. |
| Professional advisers and business service providers | Information reasonably needed by lawyers, accountants, insurers, auditors, consultants, and contractors subject to appropriate obligations. |
| Authorities and affected parties | Information disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce agreements, or respond to lawful requests. |
| Business transaction participants | Information disclosed in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, asset sale, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate protections. |
8. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
At launch, AlphaRank does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use targeted advertising or advertising cookies in the private alpha.
If these practices change, we will update this Policy, provide any required notice and choice, and honor applicable opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required by law.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service operation, public record integrity, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. The current retention targets are:
| Data type | Current retention target |
|---|---|
| Private-alpha waitlist identifiers | Until the access-opening notification is sent or the waitlist is retired, then targeted for deletion or de-identification within 90 days, subject to verified requests and legal or security exceptions. |
| Active account and direct profile identifiers | For the life of the account. After a verified deletion request, deletion or deactivation is targeted within 30 days, subject to legal, security, and backup exceptions. |
| Public calls, receipts, scoring events, and correction history | May be retained for the life of the Service and longer where needed for public-record, anti-fraud, audit, research, or dispute purposes. After account deletion, these records are ordinarily anonymized or pseudonymized. |
| Terms acceptance, material policy consent, and core moderation records | Up to 7 years after account closure or the relevant event, unless a longer period is needed for a claim, investigation, or legal obligation. |
| Billing, subscription, refund, and transaction records | Typically up to 7 years after the transaction or account closure for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal purposes. Stripe may retain related information under its own policies. |
| Security, access, and application logs | Typically up to 12 months, with longer retention for active investigations, blocked-account identifiers, or security incidents. |
| Support, feedback, reports, and appeals | Typically up to 3 years after resolution, with longer retention where tied to enforcement or legal claims. |
| Backups and disaster-recovery copies | Typically overwritten or deleted within 90 days after deletion from active systems, subject to technical and legal constraints. |
| De-identified and aggregate information | May be retained indefinitely if it cannot reasonably be used to identify you. |
These periods are operational targets, not guarantees. We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce rights, prevent repeat abuse, respond to a dispute, or complete a security investigation.
11. Account Deletion and Public Call History
You may request deletion through available account controls or by emailing us. We may verify your identity before acting.
Account deletion generally removes or deactivates direct account identifiers and non-public profile information. Because AlphaRank is designed to preserve an auditable public call record, deletion does not necessarily erase call events, price locks, slot events, receipts, scores, corrections, or moderation history.
Our intended alpha approach is to disassociate retained public records from your direct account identity and replace your handle or profile attribution with a neutral label such as "Deleted User" or a pseudonymous record identifier, unless law requires deletion or continued attribution is necessary for a legal claim, fraud investigation, or other permitted purpose.
We may retain a hashed or limited account identifier to prevent ban evasion, duplicate accounts, fraud, or repeated abuse. Information in backups may remain until the backup is overwritten.
12. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration will never occur.
You are responsible for maintaining account security and for choosing User Content appropriate for public disclosure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or a security issue.
13. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about our processing. We may also honor reasonable requests voluntarily when not legally required.
Signed-in users can download an account export from Settings. To make a privacy request that is not covered by the export control, email info@alpharank.trade with the subject "AlphaRank Privacy Request" and describe your request. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and protect the account.
An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authority and direct verification with the account holder. If applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal a denied request by replying to the decision.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Some requests may be limited by exceptions for security, fraud prevention, free expression, public records, legal obligations, or legal claims.
14. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Notices
To the extent a U.S. state privacy law applies, the tables above describe the categories of personal information collected, sources, business purposes, recipients, and retention practices.
- We do not sell personal information for money at launch.
- We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising at launch.
- We do not knowingly collect or process sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics. Authentication credentials are handled for account security and access.
- Users may request access, correction, or deletion and may exercise other applicable rights using the contact method above.
- We may deny or limit requests when an exception applies, including to maintain security, prevent fraud, preserve legal claims, or retain de-identified public record events.
15. International Access and Processing
AlphaRank is operated from the United States, and information may be processed and stored in the United States.
If data-protection law outside the United States applies, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. You may have additional rights under applicable law, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
Do not create or use an AlphaRank account from a jurisdiction where the Service or these data practices are prohibited.
16. Children and Teenagers
AlphaRank is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
17. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Service may link to or integrate third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this Policy. Review those notices before providing information or using their services.
18. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the Service, providers, laws, and data practices change. We will post the updated version and effective date and provide additional notice when legally required or reasonably practical.
