AlphaRank Community and Moderation Policy
Version: 1.1 Alpha | Effective Date: July 9, 2026
Core rule. Use AlphaRank to record honest market opinions, not to deceive people, coordinate price action, hide compensation, manufacture performance, or abuse the platform. Paid promotion is prohibited during the private alpha.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to profiles, calls, theses, updates, asset submissions, links, images, handles, slot activity, reports, messages to AlphaRank, and all other use of the Service. It supplements the Terms of Service.
2. Honest Opinions and Accurate Records
- Post only calls and statements you genuinely believe at the time you make them.
- Do not backdate, fabricate, edit screenshots to mislead, invent performance, or claim an entry, exit, allocation, partnership, or credential that did not exist.
- Do not guarantee returns, claim risk-free profit, or state uncertain facts as proven.
- Correct material errors promptly. Do not delete or disguise losing calls to create a false track record.
- Do not imply that an AlphaRank asset verification, score, rank, or receipt is an endorsement or audit.
3. Required Conflict and Interest Disclosures
A reasonable viewer should be able to understand interests that could affect your opinion. At or before posting a call, clearly disclose any material connection, including:
- A material long, short, equity, token, option, debt, governance, or other financial interest.
- Founder, employee, adviser, contractor, investor, market maker, lender, service provider, or governance role.
- Compensation, free or discounted tokens, allocations, gifts, loans, referral or affiliate benefits, services, promised future benefits, or other consideration.
- A close personal or business relationship with a project, issuer, promoter, or interested party.
Disclosures must be clear and prominent, not hidden in a profile, link, hashtag, or vague phrase. Exact position size is not required unless AlphaRank specifically requests it.
Paid or compensated promotion is prohibited during the alpha, even if disclosed. Do not make, coordinate, or amplify a call in exchange for consideration.
4. No Market Manipulation or Coordinated Hype
You may not use AlphaRank to organize, facilitate, promote, conceal, or provide cover for market manipulation or an effort to artificially move price, volume, liquidity, sentiment, or visibility. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Pump-and-dump coordination, coordinated buying or selling, wash trading, spoofing, artificial volume, or sham liquidity.
- Coordinated call posting, brigading, or multi-account activity designed to create false consensus or manipulate rankings.
- Knowingly promoting thin, illiquid, or controlled-supply tokens using false urgency, fabricated catalysts, fake insider information, or misleading price targets.
- Concealing that you or an associate created, control, issued, funded, market-make, or hold a concentrated allocation of an asset.
- Using AlphaRank activity to facilitate an unlawful securities, commodities, derivatives, or fraud scheme.
5. Asset Submissions and Contract Addresses
- Unknown crypto assets must include the correct chain and contract address.
- Do not submit lookalike assets, malicious contracts, fake symbols, spoofed websites, or misleading links.
- Disclose if you created, control, advise, work for, fund, market-make, or materially benefit from the project.
- Do not claim an asset is safe, audited, verified, legal, or endorsed merely because AlphaRank displays or recognizes it.
- AlphaRank may reject, restrict, label, or mark an asset receipt-only or unscoreable without implying wrongdoing.
6. Scams, Fraud, and Security Abuse
The following are prohibited:
- Phishing, wallet drainers, malware, credential theft, fake support, impersonation, recovery scams, and malicious links.
- Requests for seed phrases, private keys, passwords, verification codes, exchange credentials, or payment to recover funds.
- Fake giveaways, investment schemes, guaranteed-return programs, advance-fee demands, or deceptive referrals.
- Unauthorized security testing, exploit attempts, data extraction, denial-of-service activity, or public disclosure of an unremediated vulnerability.
Report security issues privately to AlphaRank. Do not access or retain data beyond what is necessary to document a good-faith report.
7. Identity, Privacy, and Impersonation
- Do not impersonate another person, project, issuer, regulator, exchange, media outlet, or AlphaRank representative.
- Do not publish private addresses, phone numbers, government identifiers, financial account details, private messages, precise location, or other non-public personal information without lawful authority and consent.
- Do not threaten to expose personal information or encourage others to harass or target someone.
- Parody or commentary accounts must be clearly labeled and must not create a reasonable likelihood of confusion.
8. Harassment, Hate, Threats, and Illegal Content
Do not post or engage in:
- Targeted harassment, stalking, threats, extortion, intimidation, or encouragement of violence.
- Hateful or dehumanizing content targeting a protected class.
- Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, or content involving minors.
- Illegal goods, illegal services, instructions to commit crime, or content that violates another person's rights.
- Spam, repetitive promotion, irrelevant solicitation, or abusive mass tagging.
9. Intellectual Property and Confidential Information
- Post only content you have the right to use.
- Do not publish confidential, proprietary, embargoed, hacked, stolen, or unlawfully obtained information.
- Provide attribution where required and do not remove ownership notices.
- Respond truthfully to intellectual-property complaints and do not repeatedly infringe rights.
10. Platform and Scoring Integrity
You may not:
- Create duplicate or coordinated accounts, sell or transfer accounts, or evade enforcement.
- Manipulate timestamps, price locks, asset identifiers, slots, bankrolls, scores, badges, receipts, or leaderboard eligibility.
- Exploit stale prices, provider outages, bugs, token migrations, or ambiguous assets to obtain an artificial score.
- Use unauthorized bots, scraping, crawling, reverse engineering, bulk extraction, or automated posting.
- Threaten or bribe users, moderators, project teams, or providers to change content, scoring, or asset status.
11. Enforcement Tools
Depending on severity, context, history, legal risk, and confidence, AlphaRank may:
- Request information or a correction.
- Add a warning, conflict, pending, unverified, manipulated, corrected, receipt-only, unscoreable, or moderation label.
- Reduce distribution, hide, remove, or preserve a copy of content.
- Reject an asset, void a call, remove score impact, replay scoring, cap a result, or remove leaderboard placement.
- Freeze slot actions, remove scoring impact, or restrict features.
- Warn, suspend, or terminate a user and block related accounts.
- Preserve logs and evidence and notify service providers, affected parties, regulators, or law enforcement when appropriate.
AlphaRank may act without advance notice when needed to protect users, markets, systems, evidence, or legal rights. AlphaRank is not required to disclose confidential detection methods or investigative details.
12. Reporting and Appeals
Report suspected violations to info@alpharank.trade. Include the profile or call, relevant links or screenshots, a description of the issue, and any conflict or compensation evidence you have.
A user may request review of a moderation decision by replying to the notice or contacting us. Appeals should identify the decision, explain the claimed error, and provide supporting information. We may decline repetitive, abusive, or unsupported appeals.
A report or appeal does not guarantee a response, removal, restoration, or particular outcome.
13. Changes
We may update this Policy as features, risks, and laws change. The current version and effective date will be posted with the Service.
