AlphaRank Market Data Disclaimer and Attribution Notice
Version: 1.1 Alpha | Effective Date: July 9, 2026
Market data is not guaranteed and may not be tradable. Prices, liquidity, volume, market capitalization, contract metadata, and derived scores can be delayed, stale, incomplete, inaccurate, manipulated, or unavailable. Verify independently before making any decision.
1. Scope
This Notice applies to prices, market data, token metadata, contract addresses, liquidity and volume measures, time series, asset status, derived calculations, score inputs, and related information displayed or used by AlphaRank.
2. Third-Party Sources
AlphaRank may obtain data from third-party providers, exchanges, blockchains, decentralized exchanges, liquidity pools, aggregators, or public sources. Providers may include CoinGecko, DEX Screener, GeckoTerminal, DexPaprika, and others selected or changed by AlphaRank.
Provider names, trademarks, APIs, databases, and data remain the property of their respective owners. AlphaRank receives only the rights granted under applicable provider terms. Users receive no ownership or redistribution right in provider data through AlphaRank.
3. Attribution and No Endorsement
- Where CoinGecko data is used, AlphaRank will display "Powered by CoinGecko" or other attribution required by the applicable CoinGecko license and brand guidance.
- Other provider attribution will be displayed where required by the applicable provider terms or agreement.
- A provider name or attribution does not mean that the provider sponsors, endorses, audits, approves, or is responsible for AlphaRank, its users, calls, scores, or rankings.
- AlphaRank is solely responsible for its presentation, scoring rules, warnings, and user relationship.
4. Accuracy, Delay, and Availability
Market data can be affected by provider outages, rate limits, exchange or node failures, network congestion, chain reorganizations, incorrect token metadata, symbol collisions, wash trading, spoofed liquidity, thin markets, pool selection, decimal errors, migrations, rebases, forks, depegs, and manipulation.
Different providers or venues may report different prices, volumes, circulating supply, market capitalization, fully diluted value, liquidity, and timestamps. AlphaRank may select, combine, normalize, filter, or reject data according to internal rules.
AlphaRank does not promise real-time, complete, uninterrupted, archival, or error-free data. Data may be added, corrected, removed, delayed, or discontinued without notice.
5. Reference Prices Are Not Executable Prices
A price shown or used for scoring may be a last-trade, reference, composite, midpoint, index, pool, venue-specific, or provider-calculated value. It may not represent the price at which any person could buy, sell, borrow, short, transfer, or settle the asset.
Displayed values may not account for spread, order-book depth, liquidity, slippage, market impact, gas, routing, fees, taxes, bridge risk, transfer limits, geographic restrictions, or the size of an actual position.
6. Thin and Manipulated Markets
New, illiquid, low-float, concentrated, or thinly traded tokens are particularly susceptible to stale prices, extreme prints, wash trading, artificial liquidity, insider control, and manipulation. A high calculated return on such an asset may not have been realistically tradable.
AlphaRank may cap, void, delay, label, or refuse scoring for a market that lacks reliable depth, volume, history, identity, or provider coverage.
7. Contract Addresses and Asset Identity
Symbols and names are not unique. Unknown crypto assets require a chain and contract address, but user-supplied information may still be wrong or malicious. Verify the chain, contract address, issuer, token decimals, and official sources independently.
An AlphaRank recognition, verification, or scoreable status confirms only that AlphaRank identified an asset and data path sufficient for its internal rules. It is not a security audit, legal opinion, listing approval, legitimacy check, or endorsement.
8. Derived Scores and Corrections
AlphaRank may transform third-party data into price locks, returns, scores, receipts, ranks, and other derived outputs. Those outputs are AlphaRank calculations, not provider calculations unless expressly stated.
If data is missing, inconsistent, manipulated, corrected, or restricted, AlphaRank may substitute a source, replay calculations, change recognition time, cap a result, mark a call unscoreable, void a score, or remove a leaderboard placement.
9. No Provider Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, third-party providers and their affiliates are not responsible or liable for AlphaRank, User Content, calls, scoring, rankings, financial decisions, losses, or outcomes arising from use of the Service. Provider data is subject to the providers' own terms and disclaimers.
10. Restrictions on Extraction and Redistribution
Unless AlphaRank and the applicable provider expressly authorize it in writing, you may not scrape, crawl, systematically download, reproduce, store in bulk, resell, sublicense, redistribute, syndicate, expose through an API, or use market data displayed through AlphaRank to create a substitute data product.
Ordinary viewing, sharing a limited screenshot with required attribution, or quoting a small amount for commentary does not grant broader data rights and remains subject to law, these Terms, and provider requirements.
11. Changes to Providers and Terms
Providers, plans, licenses, attribution, rate limits, caching rules, and display rights may change. AlphaRank may remove or change data, providers, scores, or features to comply with provider terms or law.
